“Jauhkanlah dari padaku jalan dusta dan karuniakanlah kepadaku Taurat-Mu. Aku telah memilih jalan kebenaran; aku menempatkan hukum-hukum-Mu di hadapanku.”
Mazmur 119:29–30
Mazmur 119:29–30 memperlihatkan sebuah pilihan batin. Pemazmur memohon agar Allah menjauhkan jalan dusta dan menuntunnya kepada jalan kebenaran. Iman bukan hanya mengetahui mana yang benar, tetapi memilih untuk berjalan di dalamnya.
Di hadapan Allah, hati manusia selalu berada dalam perjalanan. Ada jalan yang menjauhkan, dan ada jalan yang membawa kita kembali kepada Sabda. Karena itu, doa pemazmur menjadi doa kita: Tuhan, bersihkanlah jalan yang salah dari dalam diriku dan teguhkanlah langkahku di dalam kebenaran-Mu.
Firman bukan sekadar kata yang dibaca. Firman menjadi jalan ketika kita membiarkannya membentuk pilihan, tindakan, dan seluruh hidup kita. Memilih jalan kebenaran berarti menempatkan Sabda Allah di hadapan mata dan hati setiap hari.

「偽りの道を私から遠ざけ、あなたの律法を恵みとして与えてください。私は真実の道を選び、あなたの定めを私の前に置きました。」
詩編 119:29–30
詩編119編29–30節は、心の中での一つの選択を示しています。詩人は、偽りの道から遠ざけていただき、真実の道を歩むことができるように神に願います。信仰とは、真理を知るだけではなく、その真理を生きる道として選ぶことです。
神の前で、私たちの心はいつも道を選びながら歩んでいます。御言葉は、私たちを正しい道へと呼び戻します。だからこそ、この詩人の祈りを私たち自身の祈りとしたいのです。
御言葉は、ただ読むための言葉ではありません。私たちの選択と行動、そして生き方を形づくる道です。今日も神の御言葉を目の前に置き、真実の道を歩むことができますように。

“Keep false ways far from me and graciously give me your law. I have chosen the way of truth; I have set your ordinances before me.”
Psalm 119:29–30
Psalm 119:29–30 presents a choice of the heart. The psalmist asks God to remove the way of falsehood and to lead him in the way of truth. Faith is not only knowing what is true; it is choosing to walk in that truth.
Before God, the human heart is always on a journey. There are paths that lead us away, and there is the path of the Word that calls us back. Therefore the prayer of the psalmist becomes our prayer: Lord, cleanse from me every false way and strengthen my steps in your truth.
The Word is not merely something we read. The Word becomes a way of life when we allow it to shape our choices, our actions, and our whole existence. To choose the way of truth is to place God’s Word before our eyes and within our hearts each day.
